About Sara Pal
Years working with some of the world's biggest brands. One question that never went away. A methodology built on the answer.
The thinking behind it
Working with global brands, Danone, Nestlé, Amgen, on very different challenges, I kept coming back to one question: why does this one get chosen over that one? The answer was never the loudest campaign or the cleverest tagline. It was the condition the brand had built in the buyer's mind before the decision moment arrived. The familiarity. The trust. The sense that choosing this one was safe in a way that choosing the alternative was not.
The more I studied it, the more I understood: being chosen is not a result of how good you are. It is a result of the conditions around your quality. The right signals, landing at the right moment, building the right kind of familiar. The brands that understood that became the obvious choice before the decision was even made.
"Being chosen is not a result of how good you are. It is a result of the conditions around your quality."
That kind of thinking used to require a hundred-person marketing team and a global budget. It does not. The decision psychology is the same at any size. The system is the same. The conditions that make a global brand the obvious choice are the same conditions that make a founder-led business the obvious choice. I built Salt and Pepper to close that gap.
I built it specifically for the businesses that deserve to be chosen and are not. The consultant whose clients never leave but who cannot seem to generate enough new enquiries. The founder who knows she is better than the person who keeps winning the work. The ones who are genuinely excellent but have never built the conditions around that excellence that make choosing them feel like the natural thing to do. That is the gap. That is what this closes.
Salt and Pepper is for women founders in particular. Not exclusively. But this is where I look first. Women who are excellent at what they do and systematically underestimated by the market. Building the conditions that close that gap is work I care about beyond the commercial case for it.
Working at enterprise scale?
Multiple brands. Multiple markets. Multiple product lines. Sara co-founded Dreamatic in 2017 to do exactly that. Brand strategy, creative, multichannel media and demand generation for enterprise teams who need to grow fast, stay coherent and build compounding brand value.
An execution partner built for complexity and designed to compound.
"The obvious choice is not a position you claim. It is conditions you build, one encounter at a time."
